Students will also have the opportunity to become global ambassadors, a position in which one will lead their given region by opening new chapters, marshaling video creators, and spreading the mission of Discovator and our video platform to a broader audience of individuals. As a Discovator ambassador, you must create 2 to 5-minute video(s) regarding any topic you would like to enlighten the next generation of leaders. It can be related to STEM, humanities, music, or anything of your interest! For instance, my friend loves game design, and I love piano! This also does not have to be animated, however, it is strongly encouraged and will reflect positively on the quality of your video(s).

Scholarships will be distributed in varying amounts based on the badge-system. The badge-system is split into 6 categories: “Commended, 1-star, 2-star, 3-star, 4-star, and 5-star.” This is an impact-based scholarship, meaning your contributions to Disovator and your role in positively helping the world will be primarily considered. Scholarship amounts are not yet confirmed, and will be released in Spring of 2025. Please check back for information then.

Connections with a global network of professionals in academia (Harvard, Stanford, Cornell, MIT, UC San Diego Graduates and Researchers) will be offered to global ambassadors who have achieved 3 or higher badges. In addition, connections with a global network of professionals in the industry (Resmed, Qualcomm, Microsoft, Illumina) will also be offered to ambassadors. Students will have the opportunity to request one-on-one mentorships, receive guidance for career searches, and potentially even secure internships through this exclusive opportunity.
