Xavier, one of our global ambassadors leading Malawi, recorded a detailed, informative, and thought-provoking crash course on Arduino prototyping. Arduino is an open-source electronics platform that combines easy-to-use hardware and software. The hardware consists of various boards equipped with microcontrollers and input/output pins, which can be connected to sensors, motors, LEDs, and other components. The software, known as the Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE), allows users to write and upload code to the boards using a simplified version of C++. This setup enables quick and efficient prototyping, making it ideal for developing and testing interactive projects, from simple LED blinkers to complex robots.
